A commissioned tile-design project for the Grand Hyatt Sanya complex. I developed a flexible collection of illustrations inspired by Hainan’s landscape, food, architecture and leisure culture. The individual motifs were designed to work both independently and as part of larger patterned compositions throughout the stairways.
